ALTech’s Front Labeling Machine
ALTech’s machine of the month in December was their Front Labeling Machine. This is a system that can apply custom pressure sensitive labels onto rolls of tissue paper, packed in couples with plastic film. Originally built for an important European company, the compact system inserted in-line, able to apply pre-printed labels to the front of pallets. The Front Labeling Machine can apply labels to 20 pallets per minute.
The system supplied is based on ALTech’s ALstep M, which is equipped with a pneumatic rotary application device (AC04). This is suitable for label application to the front side of products. Due to the compact size of the Alstep labeling head, and its ability to blow the label on moving products, the machine runs in-line without compromising the product flow or the throughput.
