Great Lakes Label, a leader in label production and application, is pleased to announce the purchase of a Mark Andy P5 flexographic press.
Quick Change Die System (QCDS)
One of the main features of the press is the Quick Change Die System (or QCDS). This system even allows for die changes in an ergonomic process without the use of a hoist. So, with the QCDC, a die can be changed in approximately 30 seconds, reducing change-over time by 80%. For even more information, see the below video.
The Mark Andy P5 Flexographic Press Capabilities
The P5 features full UV capability, 8 stations and a rail system for mounting screen units. The UV capabilities include high-efficiency hot air drying, single or dual UV curing, ProLED UV LED, as well as combination hot air and UV.
This is the second Mark Andy P5 press owned by Great Lakes Label, in addition to a 14 station P7 press. The new P5 will allow for faster order fulfillment, innovative techniques, and high-quality labels.
