We have 30 years of label manufacturing experience, have state-of-the-art label presses and highly automated finishing equipment.We have many high-volume national accounts which gives us a high volume purchasing power with our suppliers that helps us to be competitive in price. GLL also offers printers and label applicators. GLL is a LEAN manufacturing company with many other certifications.

WHAT WE DO: We are your go-to solution for all things labels & applicators. Our advanced equipment includes 5 printing presses that range from 7.5″ to 17″ web & 9 rewinders, including 3 turrets. We have invested in cold foil printing, and hot stamp foil printing to produce outstanding labels. We currently offer innovative finishes that will delight your customers. We use UV and/or water-based Inks with up to 14 color printing capability, providing you with eye-catching dynamic colors and crisp, sharp artwork. Our production floor runs on a LEAN manufacturing platform with 3 shifts, running 7 days a week.

We obtain an FSC® Chain of Custody Certification

FSC® chain of custody certification verifies that FSC-certified material has been identified and separated from ineligible and unacceptable material as it makes its way along the supply chain from the forest to the market.

We Use T5 Lighting

In our efforts to reduce our environmental footprint and tackle climate change, Great Lakes Label was outfitted with new T5 lighting. The T5 lighting helps us reduce emissions, using much less energy, compared to fluorescent or T8 lighting. Our facility has also realized greater energy savings. The long-lasting lighting has also eliminated constant disposal, decreasing our waste.

Commitment To Waste Reduction

We continue to reduce the number of raw material deliveries by implementing LEAN practices within our purchasing procedures. Great Lakes Label LLC works closely with our supply chain, documenting and tracing raw materials all the way back to their origin.

Recycling

We recycle our corrugated waste material. We continue to try and reduce materials wasted with our LEAN manufacturing practices, reuse items that we can during testing and trials, and recycle our waste materials that can be recycled

Tony spent 21 months in Schweinfurt, Germany.  He was on the Bradley Fighting Vehicle and held the jobs of driver and then Turret Gunner. He spent time patrolling the mountain range of the East German/West German border both in the Bradley and on foot.

PS2 (SW) Personal Specialist 2nd Class

Served 10 years (2002-2012)

Dustin was aboard the USS ANZIO CG-68 in 2003. The Anzio and USS Cape St George were the two ships that shot missiles into Iraq in 2003 to begin the war.. He was less than one year in and got to see live missiles launch. Most go a full career without witnessing that.

4 years on the Anzio out of Norfolk VA

4 years as a Recruiter in Grand Rapids, MI

last 2 years was on the USS Abraham Lincoln CVN-72

Dustin has been to 5 of our 7 continents.. Supposed to be 6 with Australia being the one missing… Korea decided to act up at that time frame and we had to change course..
