The stand-alone labeling system is one that operates separately from any other system, such as a filler and capper, etc. So, many times, a company moving from manual or even semi-automatic labeling, will introduce a stand-alone labeling system. This also allows them to include feeding and accumulating tables as shown in the video below. As the automation grows within an organization, the labeling system will move from a “stand-alone” to an “inline” process.
Universal Stands Out With Their Stand Alone Labeling System
As seen in the below video, after placing your unlabeled product in the holding tray, it will spin its way onto the conveyor belt. This machine even has the capability to adhere a pressure-sensitive label to the top of the product. Then, it also applies labels to the sides as well, before leading it down the system and onto the pick-up tray. So, this one-stop system can also cut down on costly time wastage.
