This system prints and applies a barcode label to the bottom of clamshells and cartons. As a result, it becomes an easy job with an interrupted belt conveyor system.
An interrupted bottom apply belt conveyor links two belt conveyors on a single framework. This provides an opening all the way across. So, it applies a label anywhere on the bottom surface.
The system includes a printer applicator, equipped with a Sato 84 EX series print engine, harmonized AC motor drives, UL approved control enclosure, all fully integrated into one system.
